EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework
DDi adheres to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework in connection with the export of personal data from the European Union to the United States. In cases of onward transfer to third parties of Personal Information of EU individuals non pursuant to the EU-US Privacy Shield, we are potentially liable.
DDi has further committed to cooperate with EU data protection authorities (DPAs) with regard to unresolved Privacy Shield complaints. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your complaint to your satisfaction, please contact the EU DPAs for more information or to file a complaint. The services of EU DPAs are provided at no cost to you.

Why we collect personal data
From time to time DDi may collect personal data for specific and limited purposes to operate effectively and provide you the best experiences with our products. This information is collected in several ways. On few products, you can register to receive customized information. In order to provide this customized information, DDi requests certain personal data. For example, if you are an investigator, DDi requests your personal data to identify and contact individual investigators to determine their interest and expertise in participating in clinical trials. If you are interested in an employment opportunity at DDi, then we request and process your personal data to match your qualifications with open positions and to contact you regarding your interest. Investigators selected to conduct clinical trials may need to provide additional information so they may be compensated for their participation.
Sharing and Usage
We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone for their promotional use without your advance permission or unless in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you e-mails based on your request for information, and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.
How we use this information
The information provided by you is stored in a database in order to provide you with the information you requested. This information will only be shared with employees of DDi and only to the extent necessary to accommodate your request. DDi does not share your information with outside third parties without your explicit consent. DDi is a global company with offices and databases throughout the world. DDi may transfer your data to one of its databases or offices which are outside your country of domicile. DDi takes measures to protect data that is so transferred.

- Request a copy of your data that you have provided to DDi
- Correct your data
- Invoke binding arbitration to the further processing of your data, in which instance we may be unable to continue any function for which the data was obtained (with the consequential effects)
- Prevent the further transfer of your data to third parties where there are inadequate data protection arrangements.

At present we are not using cookies but may offer this option in the future in order to allow site visitors to personalize their experience. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the hard drive of your computer. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. A cookie enables to track and target your interests to enhance the experience on any site. We receive IP addresses in the normal course of the operation of our Web site. Our e-mail marketing is permission based.
